The Red Cross Babysitter Certification Course teaches youth 11+ the skills and confidence to safely and responsibly care for themselves and others, as leaders and entrepreneurs.
This 7hr Red Cross Course covers practical information in a most hands on way, with a focus on Leadership, Child Development, Behaviour Management, and the Business of Babysitting, with a substantial emphasis on First Aid. Participants are taught the basics of standard first aid & CPR course.
The $70 Red Cross Fee includes a copy of the Babysitter Manual and a Red Cross Certificate upon completion.
This course provides a solid foundation for taking the Canadian Red Cross First Aid & CPR course when youth are 14+. Those under 11 are encouraged to take our Red Cross Stay Safe Workshop to learn safety at home and in the community.
